On February 24, 2022, Russia launched its large-scale invasion of Ukraine. The civilian population was immediately plunged into distress and adversity.
In the early months of the conflict, Ukraine is Europe, a non-profit humanitarian organization, was created. Its director, Arthur Frantchouk von Manstein, an entrepreneur, suspended his professional activities to dedicate himself entirely to the NGO.
Based in France (Schiltigheim), Ukraine is Europe immediately began supporting Ukrainian civilian populations. Within a few months and thanks to its actions, Ukraine is Europe was recognized as a General Interest Association.
The activities of Ukraine is Europe are developed along five axes: the collection and delivery of medical supplies and humanitarian aid, the establishment of mobile clinics, access to energy in affected regions, access to education and training, and the reintegration of refugees returning to Ukraine.
From October 2022 to December 2023, the team delivered a total of 300 tons of aid: food, essential items, but mostly medicines and advanced medical equipment aimed at preventing amputations for the wounded.
In the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, near the front line, the organization deployed a fleet of 5 ambulances providing regular medical assistance to populations no longer having access to care. From July to December 2023, the NGO provided medical follow-up to 1336 patients in 78 isolated villages. Additionally, 38 ambulances were donated to various hospitals across the country.

As energy installations are frequently targeted by bombings, Ukraine is Europe finances and delivers generators, radiators, and autonomous solar panels to affected populations and structures, including ten orphanages and hospitals.
Due to the destruction of many schools, it also provided over 2,000 tablets to affected children so they could continue their education online.
Many Ukrainian refugees abroad express a desire to return home. This return is essential but difficult, as displaced persons often have lost everything. Therefore, Ukraine is Europe has implemented a program to facilitate the reintegration of Ukrainians in Ukraine. Thus, the organization is working on the opening of a center in Dnipro, which will offer refugees all the assistance they need to find work and housing. The center will also provide legal and administrative support, as well as basic medical and psychological assistance. A team of volunteers is currently dedicated to refurbishing the building intended to host the center. The opening is scheduled for the course of 2024 and aims to reintegrate 2500 people per year.

Additionally, this refugee reintegration program includes the purchase of an abandoned village in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, its reconstruction, rehabilitation of infrastructure, construction of social housing, a cultural center, and a school. Once again, social, administrative, professional, and medical support will be provided to returnees to ensure their best possible return to normal life.
All these actions are carried out thanks to the patronage and support of more than forty partners (including the Leroy Merlin Foundation, Crédit Mutuel, Alliance Française, Google, Microsoft, as well as NGOs such as Médecins Sans Frontières, Caritas International, the European Movement, or Hope Europe). Ukraine is Europe is proud of the quality and reliability of the governmental and institutional partnerships it has managed to establish, both in France (French Development Agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe) and in Ukraine (Governments of the Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblasts). Currently, around sixty volunteers contribute to the activities of Ukraine is Europe.

But the war continues. Fighting and bombings persist. Every day brings new casualties, new displaced persons. At a time when international support for Ukraine is waning, Ukraine is Europe more than ever needs financial support to successfully carry out its actions. Ukraine is Europe ensures perfect traceability of donations, offering guarantees to both donors and beneficiaries. Its logistical footprint allows it to ensure total control of the aid provided, from donation collection to delivery on-site.
In addition to the concrete assistance provided to war victims, the organization also seeks to strengthen Franco-Ukrainian friendship, to continue the rapprochement of these two countries in a joint humanitarian and sustainable effort.
