Anastasia is a young Ukrainian woman of 28 years old. She has been living in Lyon for ten years. A few days ago, she organized her first convoy to the city of Przemyśl to help the Ukrainians affected by the war in Ukraine. Przemyśl is a city at the border between Poland and Ukraine.
The young woman agreed to meet us on her return to tell us about her journey and her commitment to her country. “When it happened on February 24, the first thing I did was take the car and go to Ukraine.
But then, my family stopped me by telling me that I could maybe do more things by staying here. And that’s why I try to do as much as I can to help my people.”
