A professor of economics and management in higher education, Lionel has always been interested in Ukraine. Since the 2010s, he has made numerous visits and missions there, particularly on behalf of a Ukrainian company involved in the creation and installation of solar power plants in Europe and Ukraine.
Being present in Ukraine during the events of 2014, he witnessed the seriousness of the situation and had already chosen to support the Ukrainians. The events of February 2022 motivated him to get even more involved, concretely, through the association.
