Having fallen in love with Ukraine and its people at the age of 17, she has been organizing humanitarian convoys since the beginning of the war with her husband Sviatoslav, a Ukrainian Greek-Catholic priest. With the help of their parishioners, they raise funds and collect material donations in Haute-Savoie and neighboring Switzerland, which they send directly to combat zones through a network of reliable volunteers. In constant contact with their doctor and chaplain friends on the front lines, they try their best to meet the needs on the ground, including collecting medicines and purchasing specific medical equipment to provide first aid to the injured.
In December 2022, Justine and Sviatoslav joined the Ukraine is Europe association, where they manage the medical division.
