On March 18, 2023, the medical branch of our association sent a convoy of nearly 800 kg of medical equipment, medicines and food to Ukraine. It was transported to Lviv by Ukrainian drivers with whom we have been working confidently for several months. The load was received by our volunteer friends Youra and Natalia (a former refugee) before being handed over to our friend Dmytro who goes to the Donbass every week to deliver humanitarian aid to hospitals and people in need.
The donations were partly collected in Haute-Savoie and Valais (Switzerland), but we also received a significant donation of equipment from the Sion hospital, including NaCl solutions for infusion, syringes with needles.
We also bought specific medical equipment and first aid supplies to meet the requests of several doctors working in eastern Ukraine and that of a surgeon from the Kramatorsk hospital.
The donations were delivered in person by Dmytro to the Rivne, Kourakhove, Kramatorsk hospitals as well as to doctors from the Kharkiv and Donbass regions.
